Major events
The Welsh Scout Council organises a number of major events:
- Talkabout - an annual conference day incorporating the AGM of the Welsh Scout Council
- All-Wales Scout Camp - A weekend camp for Scouts across Wales, currently held every 2 years
- AWESOME - A weekend camp for Explorer Scouts, currently held every two years
- Cub fun day - A day for Cubs across Wales to meet other Cubs and enjoy activities, currently held every 3 years
- Conferences - Occasional specialised conferences are held as the need arises
- International Expeditions/Explorer belts - International events for Scouts, Explorer Scouts and Scout Network are occasionally organised.
Through various teams, the Welsh Scout Council also organises an annual programme of water activities for young people and adults, and mountain skills training.
