Scout Network take the lead
Posted 27 February 2009

CATVOG Network's annual Frostbite Camp at Dolygaer Scout Centre took place over the weekend of 20 - 22 February, bringing together a mixture of Leaders and Network members from CATVOG, Mid Glamorgan, Glamorgan West and Gwent. The weekend offered a chance to relax, socialise and learn about the new Network resource Taking the Lead which was presented by UK Adviser for Scout Network Adrian Wray and Commissioner Wales for Scout Network Helen Mayston.

| Waterfall Walk | In the old railway tunnel |
During the weekend the members took part in a number of training sessions relating to the new resources, ranging from Programme planning to risk assessments, this involved a few team building activities to get everyone working together and have a bit of fun.
A walk took place on the Saturday to explore the local waterfalls which was finished off by walking through the disused railway tunnel in complete darkness.
Thanks to Adrian and Helen for travelling to be with us for the weekend.
